Burnt Ends
Getting Started:
Set smoker to 250 degrees
Ingredients:
4-5lb. pork belly
Killer Hogs Hot Rub (or your rub of choice)
Heath Riles Honey Rub (or your rub of choice)
1 stick of butter - diced into 8 tablespoons
3/4 cup Cali Gold BBQ Sauce (or your sauce of choice)
1/3 cup Mike’s Hot Honey
How To:
Cut pork belly into 1-inch cubes.
Season all sides with your favorite rub. Some of ours are Killer Hogs Hot Rub and Heath Riles Honey Rub.
Smoke at 225 degrees for 2.5 - 3 hours or until dark red & nice bark begins to form.
Remove from smoker and place cubed pork belly into a large foil pan. Add 8 tablespoons of butter, 3/4 cup of Kinder’s Cali Gold barbeque sauce, 1/3 cup of Mike’s Hot Honey, and add more of your fave seasoning. We use Heath Riles Honey Rub, and Killer Hogs Hot Seasoning.
Cover with foil and put back on the smoker for 60-90 minutes or until internal temp reaches 200-205 degrees We use the ThermoPro Digital Thermometer for convenience!
Remove from smoker & serve!
