Smoked Jalapeno Poppers
Getting Started:
Set smoker to 275 degrees
Ingredients:
1 block of cream cheese
1 cup shredded cheese (we use a mixture of colby jack & mozzarella)
10 jalapenos
10 strips of bacon
How To:
slice jalapenos in half and de seed them
in a medium bowl combine seasoning, cream cheese, and shredded cheese. Mix until well combined
cut slices of bacon in half
fill jalapenos with cream cheese mixture, wrap in bacon, and top with more Meat Church Honey Hog Seasoning.
smoke at 275 degrees for roughly 45 minutes to an hour (until bacon is cooked) Enjoy!
Notes:
If you don’t have the specific rub that we like to use don’t sweat it! Use any one of your favorite rubs.
The same goes for cheese, we like to use a pre mixed shredded cheese that has colby jack and mozzarella but feel free to experiment with any cheese you prefer!
