Smoked Jalapeno Poppers

Getting Started:

  • Set smoker to 275 degrees

Ingredients:

  • 1 block of cream cheese

  • Meat Church Honey Hog Rub

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (we use a mixture of colby jack & mozzarella)

  • 10 jalapenos

  • 10 strips of bacon

How To:

  • slice jalapenos in half and de seed them

  • in a medium bowl combine seasoning, cream cheese, and shredded cheese. Mix until well combined

  • cut slices of bacon in half

  • fill jalapenos with cream cheese mixture, wrap in bacon, and top with more Meat Church Honey Hog Seasoning.

  • smoke at 275 degrees for roughly 45 minutes to an hour (until bacon is cooked) Enjoy!

Notes:

If you don’t have the specific rub that we like to use don’t sweat it! Use any one of your favorite rubs.

The same goes for cheese, we like to use a pre mixed shredded cheese that has colby jack and mozzarella but feel free to experiment with any cheese you prefer!
