Smoked Cream Cheese

Getting Started:

  • Preheat smoker to 275°

Ingredients:

  • 2 blocks cream cheese

  • kinders brown sugar rub

  • jalapeno jam or jelly (any jam or jelly will do)

    How To:

  • set smoker to 275 degrees (our favorite smoker right now is the RecTeq590)

  • line small baking sheet with foil

  • place cream cheese blocks on foil lined baking sheet

  • score the top of the cream cheese block in x pattern (see video here)

  • season all sides of cream cheese blocks with kinders brown sugar rub or your favorite bbq seasoning

  • place on smoker at 275 degrees for roughly 2 hours

  • pour jalapeno jam over top

  • enjoy with crackers, veggies, or bread!

    Notes:

  • We chose to use the BBQ rubs we did based on personal reference, feel free to experiment with other rubs that you love!

  • Our favorite jalapeno jam is one that we make ourselves but when we are in a bind we will quickly grab one from the store.
