Smoked Cream Cheese
Getting Started:
Preheat smoker to 275°
Ingredients:
2 blocks cream cheese
jalapeno jam or jelly (any jam or jelly will do)
How To:
set smoker to 275 degrees (our favorite smoker right now is the RecTeq590)
line small baking sheet with foil
place cream cheese blocks on foil lined baking sheet
score the top of the cream cheese block in x pattern (see video here)
season all sides of cream cheese blocks with kinders brown sugar rub or your favorite bbq seasoning
place on smoker at 275 degrees for roughly 2 hours
pour jalapeno jam over top
enjoy with crackers, veggies, or bread!
Notes:
We chose to use the BBQ rubs we did based on personal reference, feel free to experiment with other rubs that you love!
Our favorite jalapeno jam is one that we make ourselves but when we are in a bind we will quickly grab one from the store.
